Telekinesis je one-man-band - Michael Benjamin Lerner.
Svoj album prvenac objavio je aprila 2009. godine, pod nazivom Telekinesis!. Michael je, za potrebe albuma, sam svirao većinu instrumenata, koji su kasnije umiksovani. Album je sniman septembra 2008. godine, uz veliku pomoć Chrisa Walla (gitariste Death Cab For Cutie) oko produkcije i miksovanja.
U avgustu ove godine, Michaelu su se pridružili Jason Narducy i Cody Votolato. Tokom novembra meseca Telekinesis će svirati u Nemačkoj, Španiji, Francuskoj, i ostatku zapadne Evrope.
